Maximum occupancy is strictly enforced. We do not allow parties. (Airbnb doesn't allow parties either) Fireworks and firearms are strictly forbidden. No smoking inside the cabin. No candles, glitter, confetti. No glass in the hot tub (outdoor cups are provided) CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT: Standard check-in time is 4pm and check-out is 10am. Early check in is not guaranteed. If we have another guest departing on the same day as you, we require the entire window of time to turn over the cabin, so we won’t be able to offer this. For guaranteed flexibility, we invite you to reserve the night before to ensure you can arrive at your leisure. Late check outs are not available for this property. We hire an incredible crew and their schedules are full as they care for many cabins in the area. For guaranteed flexibility, we invite you to reserve the night after to ensure you depart at your leisure. TRAVEL INSURANCE: Guests advised to purchase travel insurance for unforeseen circumstances including travel delays, weather related incidents, sickness, etc. Cancelation policies enforced. PARKING: Our driveway can accommodate up to 4 vehicles WILDLIFE: We feel fortunate to share this space with so much wildlife. Please do NOT feed the animals and keep an eye on your pets and small children. Store food indoors, keep grill clean and keep lids on garbage cans to avoid attracting bears. Keep door shut, screens on windows and food stored properly to avoid uninvited rodent friends. POWER & WIFI OUTAGES: While we love offering modern comforts in the woods, occasional power outages do happen, they are out of our control, and you may get a taste of the true “cabin in the woods” experience. As you pack, consider bringing along anything that would help you feel comfortable during a temporary outage. We provide flashlights and the propane fireplace will keep you toasty. If the power does go out, please be mindful of water use—especially flushing—as the well won’t pump new water until electricity is restored, and you’ll only have what’s left in the tank. Communicating can be spotty without Wi‑Fi, but feel free to let me know if the power goes out. I’m happy to monitor the outage map and share updates as I receive them. DRINKING WATER: The cabin is on a river water system. While it is triple filtered, we do recommend bringing drinking water for your stay. SEPTIC: The cabin is on a septic system. Please be gentle on it by not flushing anything but toilet paper down the toilets. OCCUPANCY: We ask that only registered guests are on property, no outside visitors. Maximum guest count is 6, whether they are staying overnight or not. PETS: We welcome well behaved dogs. (Sorry cats, we love you!) We charge a flat $115 pet fee and allow a maximum of 2 dogs. We appreciate dogs staying off of the furniture and they must be crated if you leave them in the home unattended. Please discard waste in the outdoor trash bins. Pooper scooper located on the deck. Waste bags are provided. If you bring an unregistered furry guest, we will update your reservation accordingly during your stay. Thanks for understanding. WINTER: This property is approximately 10 minutes off of the highway on a gravel road that is maintained by the community. In the Summer, there are no vehicle requirements but prepare for dust. It is highly recommended that during the winter months guests have AWD vehicles. Super light snow should not impact the stay. Should there be an incoming snowstorm, guests will be notified of their options before or during their stay. We prioritize your safety. We recommend the trip insurance offered during booking. While it's beautiful up there in the winter, it's not a great place to be snowed in at as it's hard to get out of the community and it's not uncommon to lose power and wifi and we can't come help. Thanks for understanding. AMENITY USE: Gentle reminder that renting an airbnb home is different from a hotel room with a service desk. It is expected that guests are comfortable operating any amenity they are choosing to use, such as a bbq or fireplace. HOUSEKEEPING FEE: It's easy to feel put off by a cleaning fee. But rather than being stuck in a hotel room, you get a whole property to yourself, and that takes a little more effort to care for between reservations. We have a handful of amazing humans that come and remove garbage & recycling, clean the grill, clean & sanitize the home as well as the costs of restocking fresh linens, toiletries, coffee bar items, etc.
