Provided: Firewood for both fire pit and indoor fireplace Propane grill & propane Amenity sized shampoo & body wash Coffee for 2 pots Tea & sugar Oil, salt & pepper Towels & linens Dish & hand soap Dishwasher soap Laundry soap 1 roll paper towels 3 rolls toilet paper per bathroom Check in / Check out: The lodge will be ready by 4pm. We have a keyless entry with a code that will be provided to you before check in. Check out is 10am. Departure procedures are located on the wall in the kitchen. We are unable to offer late check out as we outsource our cabin care and it's too difficult to ask to adjust the schedules of the wonderful locals that help us clean, pick up garbage, maintain the hot tub and landscaping between reservations. Thanks for understanding! Travel insurance: Please consider purchasing travel insurance to protect your reservation in the chance that you need to cancel last minute. There are no refunds within the 30 days leading up to your stay. Amenities: Gentle reminder that renting an airbnb home is different from a hotel room with a service desk. It is expected that guests are comfortable operating any amenity they are choosing to use, such as a bbq or fireplace. Air Conditioning: There is a mini split in the main space. If interior doors are kept open, it will keep the property cooled down during heat waves. Heat: There are several heat sources to choose from. A mini split and a wood burning fireplace (firewood provided) in the main space and several baseboard / wall heaters throughout the property. Housekeeping fee: It's easy to feel put off by a cleaning fee. But rather than being stuck in a hotel room, you get a whole property to yourself, and that takes a little more effort to care for between reservations. We have a handful of amazing humans that come and freshen the hot tub, clean the grill, remove garbage & recycling, clean & sanitize the home as well as the costs of restocking fresh linens, toiletries, coffee bar items, firewood, etc. Wildlife: We feel fortunate to share this space with so much wildlife. Please do NOT feed the animals and keep an eye on your pets and small children. Store food indoors, keep grill clean and keep lids on garbage cans to avoid attracting bears. Keep door shut, screens on windows and food stored properly to avoid uninvited rodent friends. Power outages: Staying in the wilderness does sometimes come with an occasional power outage. This is out of our control. We provide flashlights and firewood for heat. You are welcome to text us to let us know and we'd be happy to follow the outage map and provide updates. Internet outages: Internet outages are out of our control but you are welcome to text us and we'd be happy to investigate! Water: The lodge is on a well with a filtration system. Minerals in the ground can add an orange tint that can stain spas, toilets, sinks and tubs. Do not be alarmed. Septic: The lodge is on a septic system. Please be gentle on it by not flushing anything but toilet paper down the toilets. Usage: Please be a respectful guest and neighbor. Maximum occupancy is strictly enforced. We do not allow parties. (Airbnb doesn't allow parties either) Fireworks and firearms are strictly forbidden. No smoking inside the cabin. No glass in the hot tub, please use outdoor glasses that are provided. Guest count: We ask that only registered guests are on property, no outside visitors. Maximum guest count is 10, whether they are staying overnight or not. Pets: We welcome well behaved dogs. (Sorry cats, we love you!) We charge a flat $100 pet fee and allow a maximum of 3 dogs. We appreciate dogs staying off of the furniture and they must be crated if you leave them in the home unattended. Please discard waste in the outdoor trash bins. Pooper scooper located on the deck. Waste bags are provided. If you bring an unregistered furry guest, we will update your reservation accordingly during your stay. Thanks for understanding.
